We will prepare you to start your career in the field of cybersecurity. You don't need to have previous experience. You just need to enjoy analytical tasks and have a good command of English (min. B2 level - so that you feel comfortable in English-speaking classes). However, if you are a student or a graduate of a technical university or if you have experience in IT (e.g. programming / support / help desk / project management), then this Academy is especially for you!
During the classes, you will gain knowledge in the field of CyberSecurity, the ability to work with customers and cooperate in a team, you will also learn how to develop your career and flexibly adapt to professional circumstances.
The Academy ends with obtaining a certificate.You will also benefit from individual consultations in the area of job search, not only on the Polish market. For the best graduates there is a possibility of cooperation with Accenture, a partner of Carrots Academy.
IMPORTANT!
The Academy takes place in Warsaw and you can take part in it only stationary.
Classes are in English, on weekdays, about 4-5 hours each day.

What does Cyber Security do?
CyberSecurity teams are dedicated to designing innovative solutions, using state-of-the-art techniques, to repel hacker attacks on companies and organizations. They are a key unit in building digitally secure organizations.
As part of the track, you will learn how to design solutions that enable new strategies for detecting risks and defending against cyber threats.The workshop is also a great opportunity to meet the best Security team in Poland and learn what their work looks like from the backstage.
The Academy is divided into 5 thematic blocks:

How to ensure security of the most popular cloud solutions?
• Digital identity
How to design the process of granting users access in such a way as to ensure the required security level and to be "user friendly" at the same time?

What do we secure, how do we secure it and why is it important?
• Pentesting
Penetration test - a controlled attack aimed at practical assessment of the current state of security - introduction to the issue

PROJECT MENTORS
Marcin Ziółkowski
Security consultant with 7 years of IAM experience.
He gained experience in large organizations in Poland and Europe in the financial, automotive and energy sectors. Responsible primarily for business and functional aspects of projects, as well as project management.
Master’s degree in Automation, joined Accenture in 2021 as an analyst on the OT Security team. Victoria started her career within the Carrots Academy program, where she was trained in Cloud and DevSecOps. She gets her OT experience on a project at a multinational company in the industry: health, nutrition and advanced materials, where she is involved in designing OT security systems and services.
Victoria Biesiadecka
Carrots Academy participant in 2021 after which she joined Accenture as an Analyst on the DI team. Currently, she implements and tests new functionalities in IAM projects. A graduate of Electrical Engineering at the Poznań University of Technology and a Master of Science in Management at the Wrocław University of Economics. Privately, a fan of crossfit and cooking.
Mirosława Izydorczyk
An engineer of Bioinformatics and a master’s in Computer Science graduated from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. Currently studying Computational Engineering at the University of Warsaw. Gained professional experience in software quality assurance and data science, including working with HPC-computers. Participant of the Carrots Academy in 2021, joined Accenture as a Security Specialist working on IAM and cloud projects.
